Can't remeber the registration plate BUT there is a one off 11 seater ML in Plymouth, was specially made by chopping it in half and adding an extra row of seats, was in the paper a while ago but I've just seen it now, has an XXL badge on the back too....anyone esle spotted it?

I know it says "lately" in the thread title, but this is a good one.
Back in about 1970, a friend of mine lived in a small block of flats near Southend Pond near Catford in south east London. There was a communial car park for all those who lived in there. Somebody who lived in one of the flats had a Fiat 124 sport coupe with the number 51MON. And that was well before most had bothered with personal numbers. It always impressed me.

Saw a BMW this morning on the M25 (unsure of the model, it was dark. Had nice wheels though) with N13E BM. Bit convoluted I thought....

A few years back I saw Paul Daniels in a huge Bentley driving down Regents street.......MAG1C........
Mind you, a SMART car would look huge with Paul Daniels driving.

I had a client many years ago whose name was Joseph Ion he had the plate JOE 10N, trouble was if you didn't know him it was just another JOE plate.

Following on from Paul Daniels, Jimmy Tarbuck used to have COM 1C.
