Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned, haven't trawled through all the pages. My favourite was on a LHD Fiat Sport Cabrio (can't remember what they're called now), with a rather nice looking young lady driving.

L1 CME, with the letters more appropriately spaced . My answer was - yes, but I'm guessing she'd heard that one before!!

Some years ago I had a Mk1 Golf with AND 835Y which by pure fluke matched my first name, being a student at the time and seeing beer as a better investment I didn't transfer it. Looked on reg site recently and one very similar was up for £3000 :( - gutted.

ST08ARD on my retention certificate ;)

1 BMW on a nice 7 series

Looked like it had some additional (tasteful) chrome embellishers.

Alfie,
Good plate.Does this mean we may see ST08ART on one of his lorries?

ST08ART wasnt available. Its being held back for future auction.

I think thats a bit naughty myself as they havn't held back other surnames as much, just seemingly this fairly high profile one in the hope of making a lot of money for the exchequer:rolleyes:

Saw this in Sainsburys car park today. What do you reckon to the wheels?
