Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

I've got S500 APC (my initials) on retention - bought because I thought at a glance it would look like 5500 APC - ie an old fashioned plate.

It was scheduled to go on my SLK - but I wondered about putting it on the C200K.

Then I thought it might be an object of amusement - a shrunken S class with a shrunken engine... so it's going on the SLK before the sun shines next summer.

I was wondering about the C200K..... kept looking..... nothing caught my eye.

I've just found the number... K200 MBC... £245 from DVLA.

As Eric Morecambe said... "I am playing the right notes. Just not necessarily in the right order."

So my 8 year old C200 will look like a 2 year old - unless some sharp-eyed MB fan spots the older style dials on the dash.

Were there any other revisions between 2001 and the W204 being released?

Saw ' DE51 RER ' spaced to read ' DESIRER ' on a grey Saab in Tedders today ...

Wonder what he's desiring ? a decent car perhaps ? :D

X 7AP X on a white BMW 3-Series Coupe quite literally chasing a black BMW 3-Series Coupe this evening.

VDV 1 on yet another Ferrari F430 in the car park this morning.

NI6AH J on a chaved out Pug driven one handed by a white yoof with no seatbelt on & a phone in his ear.

After some contemplation I'm guessing his name or initial is J & he & his wigga crew address each other, excruciatingly, as "nigga," as in "'s'up my nigga."

I blushed with embarassment from across the dual carriageway.

And, as usual, no sign of our friendly bobby in his panda car!

I saw an Audi avant with WO05 HBY spaced to spell WOOSH BY, can't remember the model as it was a couple of weeks back but i'm guessing an RS6 or similar

Saw EEE 333 on a E class earlier in the week on the M5 near Bristol. Had a non-standard font so looked the same in reverse if you know what I mean. Wasn't expecting the driver to be a woman well into her 60's with white hair.

Saw ' S 3000 ' on a black BM 3 series in Teddington today ....

During the week I saw an older Lexus SUV, off light green colour, reg

S18EAN

This reminded me of a colleague that left a few years ago, but don't beleive it was her

31 HS and 9 KS in Birmingham city centre today, both on black CLS55 AMG, and appeared to be on convoy.

Not two minutes later I saw a silver CLS55 AMG and silver CL55 AMG.

Must have been the day for 55K AMGs with a CL in their name!!

I saw A850LUT on a car (can't remember for the life of me, what it was now, think it was a LandRover, or similar) on the M25 last week.

When I was growing up, there used to be a Mazda RX-7 convertible near to me with the plate XOC15T which I always thought was pretty cool as a young lad.

I saw MYT 5R spaced MY T5R the other day, you can guess the car i'm sure!

Perfect plate for the the car though no doubt
