Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

L444VLY

On something or other yesterday.

Who's the saddest, him for spacing the plate that way or me for noticing?

The old boy that owns the Aston has an interiors shop around Marylebone High Street. He also has/had a Ferrari and a Rolls Royce Azure.

He lives around the Stanmore area.

yes he had a baby blue 360 spider
and he also has a rolls royce phantom convertible in black now

So was he saying the DB9 is the "fastest" of HIS cars?? :D

Agreed! Have to say it's one of the tackier plates I've seen and on such a nice car!

The plate is a bit N4STY but the car is stunning.

The owner has always had nice motors and I often used to see him caning them along the Finchley Road and down the Hendon Way, all the way on the A41 to his house. He always has the roof down on his convertables.

There's obviously alot of dough in bespoke interiors and the recession doesn't seem to make a difference to him.

Strangely, I saw Emma Bunton from the Spice Girls in a CLK cab at the same set of lights many moons ago

Wife saw one she liked yesterday, didn't say what car it was on
P15T AF
There used to be a silver 911 in Leeds with BO55 which was pretty good.

One of my mates is waiting for his dad to get too old to drive so he can get his plate LAW5 (his dad is a well known lawyer in Glasgow, and he's a lawyer too now but not very well known ;-)
and I'm still trying to track down my dad's old plate (he sold it in the early 80s) CRA1G I used to see it in Glasgow on a 928 round the Newton Mearns area but that was 10 years ago and I probably couldn't afford it now anyway.

Unfortunately the plate I'd really like JC 1 is on John Caldwell's Bentley (or was last time I saw it at Heathrow).

I'm currently thinking about OO05 JLC from the DVLA, saw another OO05 one on a Ferrari at the Silverstone Classic in the summer and the plate looked pretty good.

Coincidentally I saw this on a black Range Rover in Warwick last night

Im sure CRA1G was on a porche when I went to high school in the 80s because our home economics teacher went out with the guy. Could be wrong.

It is now on an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

Wondered if this was a certain members car?

Judging by the car its on I definitely can't afford CRA1G now! Good to see it's still about though and it looks a lot better on those cars than it did on my dad's green Celica.

V8 0UCH on a Range Rover today on the M25

Two fingers up to the green brigade maybe?!

5 EX in a mercedes, CLK I think, in Exeter. All legal and properly spaced.
