Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

3 on a BMW 7 series this morning...

... although as that's not been issued and it was within a couple of hundred meters of the car auctions I suspect he'd missed putting the trade plates on.

Saw a rover 25 yesterday with the back end all bashed in, the last 3 letters of the plate was SAD.

OPT10N on an SL 55 AMG today in teh office I am visiting (on a stroll round the car park at lunchtime, to get some air)

F14NCY on a White SLR near Harrogate earlier, and who's is this J4YCC, on a CLK on M61 this morning.
Not chrome anymore ?

Someone must have finally pointed out it's illegal to drive around in a huge mirror..

Also; "Flancy"? What, he's keen on flans?

Saw 007 007 I guess it must be OO 7007?

On a Range Rover Sport (looked like a Supercharged) on Portman Square this afternoon.

OO 7007 is on the Motor Insurance Database today

The details on the MID are:

Vehicle Make/Model: LANDROVER RANGE ROVER SPO

Spo, eh?

Spotted 2 cool plates yesterday.

a very tasteful S500 FCC (that right, on a S500)

and the uber cool

D7 VTG (have a guess what that was on)

Saw 1 US - Rolls Royce on the M6 between Coventry and Birmingham. Rather forceful driving manner.

US Ambassador?

Nope, the US ambassador is allocated USA 1, which is unlikely ever to be seen on anything other than a Cadillac.

1 US was sold at a DVLA auction in 1996 for around £15k, while 1 USA went the following year for just under £14k.

2 JAP on red 300ce

The most ironic number plate i've ever seen was today on the M25.

It was P16BOX

Any guesses what vehicle it was attached to?
