Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

I thought this was a bit sh*t, to be honest! I wonder if it is as the owner intended?!

Not recent but I once saw 2 BE and NOT 2B parked in a driveway at the same house in Cheyne Walk, Chelsea. I remember one of the cars was a then new SL (R129). I passed the house a few times subsequently and noticed it had a blue plaque. For years I wondered if perhaps the Bard himself had stayed there and in the end couldn't resist stopping to look. Sadly not.

COM1C, which has been mentioned, was often to be seen parked near a Jongleurs comedy venue in Battersea affixed to a . . . . . . . Metro.

The house does have literary connections, as one of its two blue plaques is dedicated to Hilaire Belloc, but it is not home to the owners of the the two cars that famously park there; they live further along Cheyne Walk.

Brilliant. I'm only from over the bridge in Battersea but I couldn't remember the writer's name. I also didn't remember there being two plaques. I'm glad someone can independently corroborate my story as I've had some sideways looks in the past. As you'll know it was actually more two adjacent off road parking spots than a driveway and may not have been a single house but I didn't want to spoil my story with minutiae.

The other plaque is for the artist Walter Greaves. The house has also seen many celebrated visitors/house guests over the years including Turner and Whistler.

The number plates, on the other hand, belong to Robert Bourne and Sally Greene, and have graced a number of cars over the years - most recently an Aston Martin DB9 and Mercedes S65 AMG respectively.
