Are you sure it wasn't 1 KAZ, which is on a W221?
KAZ 1 is currently on an SLK, and is up for sale at £130k (surely a record for a Northern Ireland plate, although another site has it on offer for a mere £47.5k...).
I once saw A 69 OR GO on a Ford Sierra XR4i on Streatham High Road, London. Both were new so it was a while back.
69 DO (my son's Range Rover - they're his initials)
I used to work for the clients of a haulage firm in Leighton Buzzard called ECE Haulage, ECE being the initials of Eric Senior and Eric Junior, the owners. Every time I'd visit, Eric Jnr would take us for lunch in his ECE 2 (A BMW) and I'd see ECE 7 and ECE 49 or similar on various cars in the car park while many other plates were unassigned but up on the office wall. On each visit, I couldn't help thinking they were missing the big prize until on one occasion after lunch, a tipsy Eric Snr walked us over to a garage in the yard and lifted the door to show us his new Rolls Royce Silver Spirit resplendent with ECE 1 while smugly declaring "You guys paid for that."

Oops,sorry.Its just that there are far to many pages on this thread to see if any particular plate has been mentioned before.
We do seem to move in the same little section of London.

Hey, no need to apologise - it wasn't a criticism, just a light-hearted observation. There must be many instances of duplicate spots within this thread now - probably enough to play 'Snap' with.
Looks like you spotted MAD 111 in the same place I did (Holbein Place?).
