J9 on a Range Rover with a matt wrap on it and with the Range Rover lettering removed and replaced with 'Rutland' in the same style. No idea what that means. Nice car though -

The plate belongs to Malcolm Wells, director of Rutland Estates Ltd. It has an interesting history, as it was issued to Mr Wells by the DVLC (as was) as a replacement for his plate P 9, which had also been assigned to another owner. This sort of thing used to happen quite a bit in the days before computerization; another instance was 1 JB, which was issued to a chap called John Brown to resolve a similar muddle.

I saw JK 9 on a BMW X5 in Beaconsfield last Thursday. No idea whether it's his or not, but he lives fairly locally.

Im guessing rutland was a reference to the county where i happen to live
