Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

On the subject of pers numbers I have been waiting 4 weeks moor the return of a V5 log book from DVLA. Rang them yesterday and was told it can take up to 6 weeks! When I questioned why they said they get lots of applications. Then they said that they post them out 2 nd class

They then admitted that they only send them out in bulk on a Tuesday - mine was posted last Tuesday I await Saturdays post with baited breath - as does my buyer!

I rung them last week because it had been 6 weeks since I'd had all the other docs back from a plate transfer. Turns out they weren't going to issue one EVER because it had been put on permanent hold! Never explained properly why but said they would correct it, then put me on hold and when they came back they asked how many times I had rung that day because someone had rung that morning and they'd already kicked it back into action. First off I don't know why anyone else would be interested in my v5 and secondly I'm unimpressed they'd change anything to do with my car without finding out who they were talking too.

Regardless, it turned up 3 days later.

On a Rolls Rolls Royce Ghost belonging to a gentleman of middle eastern appearance. Rolled about laughing.

Beautiful car though, and eerily quiet.

Not recently, but there is/was 4 HUC, EB 07 GUM (farmer) and years ago on one of my favorite cars (which I had the pleasure to own a few) 205 GT.

My ML came with a private plate...selling cheap as I'll be putting my on!
