Looks like a guy in our village may have had to surrender his reg, B11 OCS.
He has just traded in his Porche for a new Lexus but it is carrying a 13 plate. DVLC have tightened up on "offensive" plates.
Unless he was repeatedly illegally spacing it, it's a bit of a p155 take as they would have sold him the right to display it in the first place
That's right but DVLC are re-calling certain plates. I'm not aware if they are compensating owners in some way but doubt it.
B11 OCS, and similar, could have been issued back in 1964 with no particular thought given to the innuendo that applies now.
