23 DD on a purple Bentley GT, driven by an elderly lady with a chap in the passenger seat who looked suspiciously like Rick Wakeman. Couldn't see much through the dark tints! Was expecting to see a footballer at the wheel.

:ban:That's not P.C. Exactly what colour was he?:D

"When I was born I was black, when I grew up I was black, when I'm sick I'm black, when I go out in the sun I'm black, when I'm cold I'll be black, and when I die I'll be black. But you, when you where born you were pink, when you grew up you were white, when you're sick you're green, when you go out in the sun you turn red, when you're cold you turn blue, and when you die you'll turn purple. And you have the nerve to call me colored? "

Actually he was mixed race, and when he got pulled by the police he used to say it it because i'm black, until one day a black copper pulled him, then it was is it because i'm white.

Ha Ha, I remember when coloured was used more often than mixed race or black and it was not used in a derogatory way. I even remember the term half caste before mixed race was used.

This is true, and I still do not understand why "coloured" is derogatory, but apparently it is as I am told by my very PC daughter in law (quite literally as she is a lawyer :D ), but when somebody is called "black" it must be just me that still feels that description is derogatory......I am too old to keep up obviously!

Anyway...back to the thread.................................
