Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

Given the recent run of 'trying to work out what it really is' registrations, tonight I saw:

GlOW

I can't work out, as only viable combination I can think of is 61OW but it really did look like a "G".

Stands to reason ......

I was only passing through Feltham !

LOL :D

I was never suggesting you were a Feltham dweller ....... did you lock the doors and time it so you didn't have to actually stop at the traffic lights ..... you just kept coasting forward till they changed....

Its like South Central at night there, have your wheels off in a jiffy if you stop ....

Just that the plate was apt for the area ......

The latest NI issue plates are BIG numbers

How do you (or roadside scanners etc.) tell the difference between a 1 and an I ?!

I 'think' I and O and U and Z are excluded letters. For instance, if you see something that looks like an I it's a 1 or Z is a 2. Therefore, there is no need to differentiate.

Saw MAD 1 again yesterday this time in the business parking at Heathrow!

Saw B1 CKO (I think) as it had a bolt to make it look like BIG KO on a black RR sport in the same car park as MAD 1.

Also saw a CL65 in the same place! I'll dig out the reg number and post it on the CL65 Vigil thread.

Yup that's what I thought too, hence querying that these regs. really start with "BIG". It's entirely possible since (I think) all Irish plates start with 3 letters, but it would surely confuse the hell out of number plate recognition systems?

I saw the BMW X5 with "TUF 80Y" again on Tuesday, in the Brooklands Argos car park. It's got some bling (huge & shiny) rims on it now ... nice

1OC on Jaguar XK8 in Shepperton, wonder if its anything to do with Olympics in 2012.

And F1USH on a CLK in Weybridge

Saw some good ones today;

WH02 NAG on a Jaguar X-Type Estate
E5 STA on a MK3 Golf
ECO 501L on a Mercedes tipper truck for a company called ECO SOIL

H15 EXY, on a convertable merc, driven by a model lookinglady.didnt stop though to say hello:cool:

saw a TT with TT53 TTT this week :)
