Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

1 AUR

Or I AUR

On a w204 coupe in Northants

Could've been AUS instead of AUR now I'm thinking about it :dk:

My next door neighbour has LL11LLL on his Porsche Cayenne.

Looks OK as it goes

I think I had my best numberplate sighting in Preston (Lostock Hall way) this morning! It was a lovely white Mercedes (no idea what kind but not a convertible) with the numberplate "2L".

Saw BU55 PAS on a Beamer estate yesterday

AND3YYY - ok it should a 0.
Going on the new 350e brilliant blue premplus

C7 EDO on what looked a bit of a chavved up body kitted R230 SL, having checked the plate turns out it's an SL65...

Lucky it was a 1985 plate, not 1996 .

Was it silver with bonnet vents and a few red bits?

Saw 'ooo2 TON' on a small white car this morning in Warwickshire Couldn't tell if all were O or 0's

It'll be a plate issued by the dvla via Oxford.

Two letters and then the 03. The letters and zero are exactly the same font for plate purposes

I used to have oo03 --- (my initials) many moons ago.

It was a light grey/silver, don't recall seeing any red bits as it passed in front of me as I sat at the roundabout junction.

I know why people do it but I always think it's a shame to to it to the pre facelift R230 which I think is a very good looking car in its own right and especially in SL65 form.

P45 SBY on a Golf

G44 RRY
on a RR

Personally I think G44RRY on a Rolls Royce would look very cheap, naff and a bit Barry. If it was a Range Rover it would be about right.

Yes sorry Rangey Evoque
