I wonder if this plate is genuine, and if so, where it is from...
Can't be, but I can't figure out what the real plate is (even with screws etc).
Perhaps a showplate?

I can only assume otherwise it is a foreign registration on UK-style plates.

Presumably he can afford the fines but what if his car is confiscated, which it should be and he should lose the right to use the plate any longer. I don't mind when people change letter spacings but that plate is just plain wrong and could be construed as the owner attempting to pervert the course of justice should there be an incident.The plate is actually R888 ERR, he’s gone the whole hog and swapped an 8 for the 0.
CL 63 on a S Class in Camden.
He should have sold that with his old CL63.. at least I presume that’s why he has it
