Are BJV wheel refurb any good?

Hi all. I'm looking into getting the AMG III wheels on my wife's 2005 sports coupe done soon at BJV. Firstly, could anyone who has used them give me some feedback please good or bad? Secondly, I was looking at the option of having them done in black chrome for a change, the car is silver, would this look ok? Or just stick with standard colour?

BJV have done loads of wheels for me , AMG , Brabus , BBS , and standard MB wheels.

Always been very happy , there is the occasional blemish in the finish , but they are great for the price.

Tempted by the black chrome on my clk AMG's the next time I get them done.

They have been around forever...

I wasnt happy with the one set they did for me but I cant really review them based on one set, especially as most are happy with their work.

Thanks for the advice. Would seem the bad reviews out-weigh the good and it's not much better when reading of other people's experience on the web. Will have to search into other options, thanks.

I've had loads of sets done by BJV (probably around a dozen or so)

They do a very thorough job and are usually around 9.5/10+ quality wise as well as being amongst the best value. Honest guys, honest pricing, honest work. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear but they will restore all but the worst of damaged wheels to near new condition for a fraction of the price.

Overall I would recommend them. I'm quite fussy and still go back to them and have done for several years now - must say something

Unless you were restoring a vintage/exotic/show car to concourse standard or have OCD I think you'll be more than happy

Other places will charge twice as much, or take ten times as long but for little added benefit IMHO.

Just picked up another set of MB wheels from BJV this afternoon - 25 year old forged 15x7J 15-hole 'Cosworth'/16V wheels.

Very pleased with the results - a thorough refurbishment as always and excellent value for money

Do they corrode and deteriorate worse than others then ?
