Hi all
I need to transfer my nokia h/free car kit to my 2002 c270cdi that has an audio 10 radio cassette in it
on my bmw330 the there were 4 coonections fixed to the back of the radio/cassette /cd
from the h/free kit 1 yellow to mute when the phone was activated
black to brown (-ve)
red ( +ve) to blue white( radio) live feeds
and blue to purple/white (radio) live feeds
is there a diagram that covers the connections for an audio 10 ?
also do I need release keys to remove the radio ?
I have a Sony cd changer that uses the fm arial connection to run the cd through the radio ( it has a separate control module for it ) bought this years ago for my audi a4 ,then in my E300 td. so as I have it still its a LOT cheaper than replacing or getting a MB one to hook up to the radio/cassette
I just hope it has a coax arial connection on the radio

Any tips ? or warnings I need to know before I disconnect the radio?

Colin

thanks Chrishazle for the link...made it a breeze to remove..
just need to find out which is the switched live feed (+) as I have found the permanent live
connected my h/free kit complete with mute works a treat but I'd like to put one +ve feed to the mentioned switched live feed..
checked out a pin out digram on here but my audio 10 radio does not have a wire to pin 7..unless the digram is wrong ?
I want to be able to power off with the ignition key..
Also the radio has a cr*p AM reception..
checked out some of the topics on here but to save the cost of a new booster/amp I was wondering whether or not to try a powered shark fin aerial ..

If there is no switched live you will have to wire one in. Most people take a feed from the cigarette lighter.
