Beginning to think Clarkson is right about Audi drivers....

I think Clarksons initial rant was more along the lines that the appaling driving historically reserved for BMW M3 drivers was now the bastion of the Audi RS4 owner. Have you ever seen a well driven RS4?...especially the estate or Avant or Touring or whatever it is Audi call it in the attempt to give the brand some kind of lifestyle image.....I find they're all driven by middle aged men with a penchant for mountain biking & Oakley sunglasses.

My boss used to be a BMW owner when Clarkson said they were all cocks, now he drives an Audi A6, goes mountain biking and wears Oakley sunglasses. And he's middle aged as well.

I rest my case ;)

could be your ex boss on Monday :)

I didn't think Audi's did that, usually a RWD motor is best for being a hooligan :D

Funnily enough, I thought that too. 4wds are relatively sticky in corners. But believe me, with nearly 2 tons and 4.2L/300bhp exerting their respective forces you CAN get these VERY sideways around large roundabouts :D

I have got to get that suspension lowered though- It's bloody terrifying around sweeping bends :)

Would that be Quentin Wilson, the TV personality & convicted car clocker to whom you are referring?
Yes it most certainly is.I refer only to his presentational skills, general automotive knowledge and charisma. Mr Clarkson & co lack this cutting edge and maturity.
Top Gear sadly is Boys Own Stuff!

Always thought there was a continuity error in that sequence with DeNiro jumping into the back seat of the 6.9 , only to be seen in the front passenger seat seconds later ( perhaps he was thrown forward during the reverse flick ? ) .

Either way , he demonstrates a prefect way to deal with outside lane hoggers when he pops up through the sunroof :D

Roundabouts on private property I hope you mean otherwise I'll be shocked!

Get the anti roll bars uprated. Works wonders.

I've just had an aggressive **** in an RS6 weaving back and forward a foot off my rear bumper on the A329(M).

That reminds me of my Mini days as a youth. (Real Mini, that is, not one of these huge new German contraptions.) I had a spotlight mounted on the offside of the bootlid which I always swore was not wired up. But of course it was, and it had a 100W halogen lamp in it and was angled ever-so-slightly upwards.

Surprising how often it put off any a**eholes who were tailgating me!

Also very effective against idiots who came up behind without realising they were still on full beam.

:)

Spoilt child like Mr Clarkson being the biggest no&s of them all...
Oh I how I loved the "old " Top Gear, adults like Wilson.....

Boring though............Clarkson may sometimes spout total garbage but at least he and his posse are usually entertaining and amusing.

I cant imagine Wilson, Tiff et al getting on mopeds and travelling the length of Vietnam.
