Benjy's New Baby!

Good to hear your enjoying it Henry, definately made the right decision over a DB9 IMO.

Pagzzy has his booked for Saturday when he takes collection also, hopefully he will be as delighted with the results.:thumb:

Cheers Rob:thumb:, yeah I think now this was the right choice and as you well no mate I absolutely love this monster. I just cant get bored with that noise everytime I start her up and now that she's run in I have had a chance to see what she can do. Unreal.

Guys this is the magician who prep'd my baby and that turned my new car into the gloss finished beauty you see in the photos the day I picked it up.:D

Excellent, I find it totally brutal beyond 5000rpm. And yes it will kill you, I will keep ESP on until about April!

Interesting what you say about the comments, I get nothing - now and again some rude boy clocks the brake calipers but that is it. True stealth.....the way I like it.

S

Im really surprised with that Simon being that you don't see many tourers on the road plus that stunning colour surprises me no one questions you about it.

As for keeping the ESP on I am with you 100% on that mate I just think that because this is my first time opening the throttle it was a real surprise the power this thing produces all the way through the rev range.

Benjy

Kickdown is insane and totally unnecessary.....;)

It is funny reading all these post...stealth, discrete but crazy, can be highly visible (audible) if desired - some folks that I took out said it is better then the rides at Alton Towers! We just got to keep enjoying that monster in the C63 :-).

Lol I just can't wait I made it to new York and all I'm thinking about is the amg.
Rob I'll see you Saturday

Benjy, I love reading your posts!

It is truely great to hear that you are loving your 63!

Look forward to catching up with you soon!

.. I pushed the button on the centre consul to manual and worked the paddles....

"C" mode until the drive train is up to temperature and then straight to "M"!

I have never used "S".

I'm driving all the way over from Luxembourg at the start of April for Rob to work on my new C63. Basically because of your recommendation:thumb:

Its always good to hear from you Rash and am looking forward to seeing you soon mate. Are you going to the Bluewater meet week Saturday....if the weather is good it would be really good to see you mate.

I still cant get my head around it Rash I just can't stop smiling every time I jump into the beast and take her for a drive.

I got my cover come through today so I'll give her the Rash treatment over the weekend and cover her up for the week which makes me feel a 100 times better knowing that no snow, ice, rain or CAT will be scratching my baby anymore. :D

Hi Bud, I bet you are now bursting at the seams and can't wait to see your new baby too. I am so glad you have got Rob to prep her for you. You wait and see what this guy will make your car look. I couldn't believe the job he did on mine. Worth every penny...honestly. Dont forget get some pictures on here as soon as you can I can't wait to see yours mate and to hear about your first impressions.

Good luck Pagzzy...the wait is almost over! :thumb:

Arrrrrrr...its you Ben, yeah he told me all about a guy that was driving his all the way from Luxembourg after picking theres up and driving over to work on their C63....Honestly mate this guy is a magician. What he does to your car and the way he makes a new car look even newer is incredible. You will not be dissapointed.

Wise move... but you'll find that it really makes no difference!

lol!

:D

I dunno, at around 30-40mph full throttle kicks the rear out pretty violently and I have 5mm on the tyres (it is moist weather though). The ESP light goes mad and keeps it all in line.

I also feel a kind of slipping/juddering (like wheel spin) on the inside rear wheel pulling out of junctions in this damp weather. Is this typical even with the LSD? The ESP light does not flash.

Yeah I get the same thing Simon....I think to be honest you won't really notice the LSD much unless you are giving it a bit of beans and mostly when you are on a track. But it will help having the LSD definately more so than not having it at all.

That is the LSD locking up.

If your diff was permenently locked (i.e.no diff at all and a fixed axle) you would feel this all the time. Diffs were invented to prevent this exact phenomena.

Have you tried ESP in Sport Mode? It is far far better than the standard ESP mode.

Yo!

The driving experience is intoxicating, eh!

"Rash treatment" LOL!

Glad you have a cover for it.
Is it a breatheable cover?
My only concern with a cover (if I was leaving my car outside) would be moisture/ condensation getting trapped under the cover.

I'm hoping to make the Bluewater meet.

All I need is lots of rain between now and then to clean the roads. Then we just need temperatures above 4 degrees so that they don't need to grit the roads.... and then dry roads on the night.
Not much to ask for, is it???

LOL! :D:doh:

I'll see how it goes.
