Certainly does look good.

My E350 is black and looks superb when washed. Unfortunately I don't think it'll stay clean long after a wash for a few months now :(

I always wondered what the dot on the alloy was for on mine!

It's a great feeling going to see your car at the dealer with the door seals still on and knowing it's yours - it's a terrible feeling having to then walk away and come back another day after PDI.

Thats the thing I havent seen it yet the photos were taken by the dealer and sent to me yesterday.....So all I have of my new baby is 3 photos they have sent me and thats it.....tomorrow cant come quick enough.

As for the cleaning, its why Im having this fella detail it for me as the amount of wax and the way he seals it will mean that no sponge will need to touch its surface after hes finished with it. It should last about 8 -9 months whereby it will be just a matter of snow foam, rinse and soft cotton towels to wipe her down and she should look as good as new each time. My mate with the RS6 had his done (Which is black) when he first bought his car and has it done once a year by this guy to reseal it and it takes the car to looking showroom good each time he washes it.

lovely car benjy, well done!

A 450odd BHP car with presumable wide rear tyres just in time for the snow.

Ah well, it needs run in gently.

Take it easy.

Congrats on the arrival of your new C63. Love the combination of red callipers with the black paintwork.

You will be like a dog with two todgers when you get to finally drive it from the forecourt:thumb:

Well guys.....she is now in my hands and and took delivery 3:45 today.....to say I was excited was a bit of an understatement. I cant tell you how good this detailer was, he worked on my car for nearly 7 hours today non stop and the end result after the full prep shows in the pictures below. I fully recommend this guy and if anyone wants his web site details let me know....The car looks good in the pictures but better in the flesh, the bodywork is like glass. I want to thank my mate Nigel who spent his whole Saturday down at the dealers with me early this morning and giving me moral support and keeoing me calm until the time was up for key exchange.

He used a lamp to cover the car and found a scratch at the back left quarter which must have been done being transported to the dealer but sorted this out with some of his magic. I was a little nervous as it was about 5 inches long but could just about see it. The detailer came good and that is now gone.

Well what is she like, I dont think I have seen a yellow triangle on the dashboard of a car flash up at me so much in 10 minutes of driving. The torque on this thing is incredible. The beast is a total animal and hasnt stopped putting a smile on my face driving all the way home from the dealer. The privacy glass went very well and also looks the part especially on a black car. Tomorrow I am going to spend a bit of time getting use to the gadgets and gizmos in the car and try to understand how I can sync my Iphone contacts to the car, which didnt work at the dealers and was told maybe the new software upgrade on the I4 may sort the problem. Apparently the new command systems have now been fixed to work with an Iphone so no need for a craddle.

Well roll on tomorrow guys I want to drive my baby all day....well why not with the 4 month wait I have had I am going to enjoy the whole weekend.
