Save the date folks.

Our annual car show is on Saturday the 10th of May. This will be our 18th one we have done!

We are supporting a Prostate charity this year and all details to follow with event times etc.

Hope we can fill the Green up like we always do and I have ordered sunshine too.

A worthwhile cause. I lost my uncle to complications following surgery for prostate cancer.

I would love to attend the event, but due to my autism, I struggle with going to new places and dealing with crowds. Plus, I'm rarely awake early enough to get there in time!

If not in person, I'll be there in spirit.

Turns out I'm not working that day.....however I notice that most of the cars coming are much more special than my old derv....so if it fills up I will withdraw and let more worthy cars take my place...I would still like to attend as a visitor though and put some, doubtless pretty ugly, faces to the names!!!

There's usually enough room in the rear car park for all the cars.
It's a great day out especially with a visit to the workshop in the morning.

Olly made me promise to leave it at home this year. Apparently the local council performed a risk assessment before giving permission to hold the event, and the crowds who would inevitably surround it would cause safety concerns.

I haven’t yet decided whether to discretely park it just outside the village outside the perimeter of both the event and of public gaze, so that the Cognoscenti may discretely view it without the distraction of the crowds clamouring to see it.
