best product for super gloss wet look? show shine?

I think (I seem to always be rattling on about GTechniq, sorry!) GTechniq C3 is a great quick shine (spray on, wipe off wax) and C2 is a good rapid detailer (also spray on, wipe off)

i saw that brand on CYC also.

You cannot use wax on glass, i'd go with something like AG Glass Cleaner.
theres always the exception to the hard and fast rule. i have used a wax spray polish on my cars for years that coats bodywork, glass inc windscreen and acts like rain x but lasts longer. it stops the dreaded bugs squash sticking and when used inside the glass kids dont leave fingerprints on the surface or dogs muzzle marks ,my pet hate if you will pardon the pun:doh: you can use it on painted brake calipers to stop brake dust becoming a pain to remove and alloy wheels stay cleaner longer, then just a wipe with cold water and sponge or hp hose
my son sells this product to lorry companies tractor/jcb drivers, trawler owners, also light aircraft owners to polish the planes and many other people buy it for home use also shower cabinets ,tiles windows etc its a teflon spray that is easily applied and wiped on to surface then cleaned off with a micro fiber cloth ,full car in 20 mins
it does not mark plastics and leave white streaks. he als has another coating that cleans grainy plastic and removes polish marks leaving a teflon coat /non stick satin finish
here are some of our old cars polished with the teflon

I always wax glass as well, even the windscreen. The trick is to apply it sparingly with a damp applicator.

A genuine show finish is down to how the paint reflex the different lighting conditions. If your paint has any swirls marks, rids, holograms etc, it will let the paint down dramatically. So to start with remove these if needs be. Once this is complete the car paint will look epic without any LSP's such as pre wax, glazes, waxes etc.

For example this is the boonet of a porsche after it was washed, dried, clay'ed and ipa'ed to remove filler's.

Bonnet after swirls removed (note this was an enhancement detail, therefore only having a single stage machine polish)

Then a refelctive shot of it now with no lsp under halogen light reflection. But this was with refining with ultrafina:

.......and then a picture of the paint under natural light, no wearing a single coat of BOS. Here you can see, it may not be perfect, but is essential you remove defects to get a genuibne show shine.

Then when you head into full paint correction, you can get some real nice finishes:

Thanks but I am aware of all that. I have years and years of experience on pro polishing and my car looks insane now especially since it has come back from being resprayed. I get a mega deep shine from it that looks incredible. I had simply forgot the name of the finishkare product cos I know how good it is for that QD gloss when ur at a show or just want a two minute top up. Thanks though.

Ah, I do apologise, I thought you were asking how you achieve a liquid shine. Happy polishing:)

No worries. Cheers :-)

Company called autoline in Wigan mate. Wasn't full respray just replacing all arches then spraying and blending all quarters and resprayed bonnet. Then buffed doors and roof to blend. Looks great.

I saw Rich's car in the week and I tell you it is very impressive.

Thanks John. The rear arches were cut out and replaced and rolled and the fronts were sanded down treated, greased and sprayed up. They even kindly removed a car park door ding in the arch for free too. :-)

Not sure dude never used them for that but the guys seem very capable as my car looks factory so id imagine they'd be fine. They were sound sorting my exhaust tip out too after the wrong one got put on after a rear bump.

just ordered the sample kit from FinishKare as it contained loads of stuff i wouldnt mind trying by them too.. watch this mirror i mean space :)

Had a nightmare with my bonnet on saturday because i layered too much wax on everything i was doing it wouldnt stop streaking..eventually got the buffer out and it finally went.. i always put too much on youd think id have learnt by now lol.

Let us know how you're getting on. I'd be interested to see what other FK products are worth keeping in mind.

will do for sure :)
