They had one on the A316 near Richmond that also displayed your number plate. Made my feel kind of embarrassed when my number plate flahed up..

There used to be a mobile speed sign on my work route ,it was located in a 100 kph zone, I enjoyed trying to see how high a speed I could get the sign to show . The highest i managed to seon it was 237 kph .
Nice huge rotating stars in Berlin over the Europa Centre and in Moscow near the Kremlin... always makes me feel proud! No - that's Stuttgart railway station (the star rotates as well!).

Bout 147mph then,
Just to let you know your stopping distance in optimum conditons (weather surface and brakes), is aout 450 meters, roughly a 3rd of a mile.
Try a track day.

Poor, very poor
Ha Ha ,
I did'nt want to drive too fast , that would be irresponsible
are you offering money for track days..... shall i send you my paypal email... nice one mate....
i dont know what bike takes 450 meters to stop from 150..... lmao..
Awww bless you sonny, lets try the easy sums...at 60mph you cover a mile in 60 seconds, at 120mph you cover a miles in 30 seconds.
Now still keeping the number nice and even.....your thinking distance is lets say 3 seconds, from hazzard vision to assesment to brake application. Thats a 10th of a mile.
Then lets say 7 seconds of good braking to a stop with foot down and a shoulder check, not locking etc, that 10 seconds in total out of your 30 second mile at 120mph, your 3rd of a mile.
.....and this is forgetting the other stated 27 mph.
Have look at how many metres in a mile.
Massive rounding of number I know but sure you get the drift

Should add that the rough numbers above take no account of speed/time reduction but that just gets mind bending!! just a little easy math guide on how best to create your driving plan
Been discussed here I know, but not sure that a bike can match the braking performance of a car (assuming optimum conditions for both)?
