Brabus brake upgrade in action

Ricky - it does not feel like it right now but in a few weeks it will all feel worth it.
I have a similar back on forth over a propshaft right now I just smile at them through gritted teeth and tell them to get it fixed!

I know mate, but dealing with multipule people with this, one blames the other then the other blames the other etc etc, me stuck in the middle not knowing whats what, and with the bill to boot, LOL, but I know your right, its just getting through it all! I hope its ready by next week, Goodwood is calling!

Your prop shaft and your proposed work to your car and Marc L's works on his, are going to be boundary pushing, I hope we all get to read about all the things you two guys are up to over the winter time.

hope it all works out in the end ..

the lightweight wheels you want are OZ superforgiatas .. approx £4300 a set.

Sean mate its a long time no see, I might want them now you have pointed them out to me, but me wanting and having at the moment is worlds apart, I have various things I need to leave funds for, some of it stuck in the US at this time. Then taking the whole lot to Olley and West tuning and get the lot sorted in one go, hoping the car to be strong in the springtime. I will then concentrate on lighter everything as am able.

When you bringing that new toy out to play Sean...? it will be fun.

I just looked at them yesterday

However what about BBS F1, I was quoted £6k plus tyres

 More thinking a second hand set of something to negate the imposed weight gains I have inflicked on my car.

Thinking Oz HLTs of some nature.
Also thinking, once the Savman CF prop shaft was readily available, be thinking of that as well, plus Marc Ls CF products, wheres this all going to stop!, I know, NEVER, but enjoying a good part of what my lowly level allows, and be fun trying out everything next year with you guys.

Ricky - keep at it ! It will all be worth while .
As I won't be using my car for a few months your more than welcome to borrow a calliper until you get yours sorted
Marc

Marc,
Thats an extremely kind offer mate, and very much appreciated, but in this instance my week is done, hopefuly the caliper will be back Monday/Tuesday, with Goodwood on Friday, so couple of days to test, if all goes well.
As said previously, I have found all this 'we have got another problem' quite stressfull, one day its all ready, 12 hours later, its another issue, but hey, thats life, and am grateful that I am in this forum at these times to chat and vent my grief, and to which i receive your opinions, and in most instances surport, as do the many others that frequent here, plus as well as in between, get to meet up with alot of great people here, this is a great forum, informitive wise and people wise, I have personally met some great people at the meets and on this forum.

OZ superforgiatas are highly rated by US Porsche GTX owners. Plus, to me, they look great.

BBS F1 look good too, but not so keen on the way the spokes are spread out ..

I wonder which is lighter

would love to, and really want to try it out .. soon!

not forged wheels, so won't have the weight savings ...

They are very close in terms of weight

8.5 x 19 inch OZ's 7.34 kg
8.75 x 19 inch BBS F1's 7.40 kg

Just to say I finally received my car back today, sporting a new E63 dash cluster, new NS front suspension arm, new NS front alloy, and my Brabus upgrade braking kit, this after the long drawn out stressful 3 week saga. I will post up some pics when I get 5 minutes, got to get the car ready for Goodwood Friday, in the meantime.

Brabus brake kit and spring time mods

Further to my previous posts regards the brabus brake up grade I have had fitted, its on, but something not quite right, gonna call in the cavalry now in the form of Ollie and jack, where if it had not been for a broken suspension arm I would have taken it in the first place! :wallbash:

Heres a couple of photo's of the new Dash Cluster and the Brabus kit I have had fitted.
