Brake caliper bracket bolts

I was changing the front discs on my 2005 w203 220cdi and the bolts were very tight...I've managed to shear the bolts off. Does anybody know what size thread they are ? I thought 10mm at first but they are slightly bigger but I'm wondering if they are imperial. These are the bolts that hold the caliper bracket onto the strut/hub.

Youch! Having been going through my share of pain doing brakes, you have my sympathies!

Turn them the right way they don't shear.
