It's obviously all getting too much for you now Gav.
I'll pop down the M4 with a trailor and take this bane of your life off your hands.

I'll even chuck in a few quid and some bottled cold beer.

You'll be thanking me in a couple months.

New Chromes

Fitted the New Bumper Chromes from one of our suppliers, Abit nerve racking but they went in with a smidgen of grease on the tabs.

The Smallest things always make the bigger differences and they finish it off a treat, Brutus looks way fresher now, I have a small pitting of the centre rear one, this will also be sorted soon,

Makes such a difference nicely done Gav.

Do you mind sharing where you purchased the chrome strips.

Do you need to remove the whole parking sensor strip. I can't remember off hand if the chrome strip is attached.

Thanks Tom

It's separate to the bumper trim it is really hard to not brake when removing, use some lubricant putting the new one on, it's possible to do it with bumper on if you have a new strip the old one is almost impossible to take off without breaking unless bumpers off the car.

Thanks buddy, No need to remove the strip if your not worried about destroying the old chromes. "which i wasn't" as they were chipped and damaged.

They will pull out but leave the little tabs behind, these can be pushed through with a small flat blade, then the new chromes clipped in place.

They came with the Mouldings which i dont need but i wasnt worried, i have them just in case i ever do.

There from a Panel supplier of ours who do advertise on ebay.

They are called Prasco Tel 01302 844300,

similar to this

NEW MERCEDES E CLASS W211 FRONT BUMPER MOULDING TRIM CHROME RIGHT O/S 2002-2006 | eBay

They are a pain to remove, I agree. Worth the effort though. :thumb:

Are the chrome inserts also metal as the OEM part or plastic? I've changed the entire moudling to solid plastic from the 'Classic' trim - no chrome inserts on those.
