I have ordered a new valve from Mb thinking its the problem to my recent Hot air only from the rear Passenger compartment.
The 1st time i notice the issue was when i was in London and its the 1st time ive touched the Ac settings.
I press the temps settings to "low" front and rear But i also faffed about with the Auto button and "ZERO" button in the centre of the display.
After a trip out last night the blowers were constantly on i pressed the right hand Auto button, the blowers slowed and the car achieved the correct setting remaining Really Cold front and rear setting at 18.
I had previously noticed over the wkend it would blow cold initially from the rear then go hot and stay hot, The fronts would remain cool/coldish.
In short i think ive pressed something i shouldn't have done lol, "touch wood" as all is fine.
Anyway here it is

Here is the inside of one that stopped working.
Took it apart, The Motor part on mine has rusted bad How it had bee working like that is beyond me, But at least i know it was at fault now.

Machine Gun on Boost??? That'll be Brutus!
Well i was home alone tonight scratching my backside and board, Brutus hadnt turned a wheel in about 2 1/2 to 3 wks.........
Of course it would be rude not too right? i mean the wife and kids were out for the evening, Just me and Brutus!
Fired straight up, with some sort of angry growl, Settle to a deep burble. I took it for a gentle ride over some lovely back roads, Sunroof open so i could hear more of the wonderful v8.
I finally Reach a small place called Shotley, A little marina, Low and behold a car event was on. I parked up and looked around Brutus sunning itself in the evening Sun. Looked fantastic and was getting loads of admiring looks.
I hadn't really driven Brutus in a spirited way before, not properly always to busy working on it. Fook it what the hell, All within the limits "im not a boy racer" i took it for a serious drive......
OH my God!! using the the brakes and gears to slow down, so as not to be to harsh on the recent front brakes The car was simply a different animal!
IT's like a Machine Gun on Boost!!
The Holly Christ of sheer brutt force and shove i got as i negotiated traffic was unreal, Sport 1 and S on the box made the car shrink around me, Sure footed and focused. Seriously if Satan made a Car Brutus would be it, The thing just loves to be driven, The harder and faster it just wants more! too much for the road so didn't go there but seriously?? what a machine!
I done 58 miles tonight and it only feels like ive bin gone half n hour! These cars are just amazing considering how old they are, This one being a 11/2002 year. DAM lol
Why have i Posted this, Well this thread is a story of the car after all, So i can pretty much say Brutus has been resurrected, Saved and pampered like all these e55k's should be.

It is a wonderful machine I always said that about my aprilia rsv mille if satan made a bike it would be that the sound of it made was intoxicating and your right if satan made a car it would be the amg.....pure animal!

I missed a few this year, We went Cars on the Green Bury St Edmunds this year, Certainly be up for a trip to Cambridge weather permitting as it doesn't get used on wet roads unless im caught out lol
