Hi guys,

My research into C32 ownership continues before i take the plunge...

I'd like to know the average cost of the A and B services (minus work done obviously).

I know it is very much dealer-dependent but a few examples would be helpful.

Many thanks

My running costs over the last 18months and I use an indy as twice in a row my main dealer have messed me around.

My last A service was £150 with no extras

Last B service was £275 with no extras

Over the last fairly hard 25k miles its had 2 sets of front tyres and 3 rears
Discs and 2x sets of pads £200
Front anti roll bar linkage £50
4x Springs £100 each I think
Spark plugs £180
Brake fluid changed £40
Supercharger pump under warranty
Replacement V belt and tightener pully £150
A rust claim on doors, arches and tailgate
And gallons of fuel.

Petrols the main thing but you cant have everything.

My car is serviced at the local main dealer.

A-service (summer 2008) including small age/mileage related additional item was £135 having supplied my own oil.

B-service (summer 2009) including age/mileage related additional items (brake fluid, air filter, fuel filter*) was £372 having supplied my own oil.

* There are a couple of fluid filters that MB use. The C32 has the slightly more expensive one, so will probably be more expensive than on most cars.

Thanks guys,

Not as bad as i was expecting in actual fact. I appreciate the info.

Kind regards

One other thought. When you call for a price, be aware that they will very likely try to bump the price up when they find out it's an AMG. Shop around, ask for discounts and provide your own oil, and the service costs tumble.
