I placed the order for mine on Friday, have been given end of March as a delivery date.
Well Done! Better even than mine. Ordered on 7th Jan and due on 7th April. I console myself that it will have "16" registration plate.
BTW, what are the thoughts on the value of the upgrade option to "LED Intelligent Lighting System"? Apparently this makes adjusting to continental RH dipping controllable by the driver as well as shining around corners. Otherwise the dipping change can be done in the garage by a mechanic with a screwdriver.
Just had the call from the dealer. My c350e will be ready on 4th Feb :bannana:
I posted about an interesting NHS Lease (Well, lease and government grant) issue due to the time of ordering earlier today - http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/2235827-post63.html
Not sure if you were affected etc, but worth a read if yours seemed a bit on the expensive side?
If not - enjoy the car - not long now at all!!!
Hi mate. Mine is in the lower end of the scale you had in the link. Works out cheaper than the Honda civic I currently have. Glad you got sorted in the end. Sounds like that could have been unnecessarily expensive!!
Has anyone considered how the BMW 330e compares to the Mercedes C350e? Any thoughts on the matter would be interesting, I feel...

So, after the good news that Mercedes have apparently found the fault, now the bad news. Parts (Charger socket, cabling for the car and charge control module) are on nil stock. They're expected into Germany 3rd Feb, add a few days to get them to the UK and then a few days to fix it it's expected back to me mid-Feb. This would be approx. 6 weeks after I left it with the garage to investigate / repair. This is somewhat later than I expected and I am really not happy with Mercedes now.Update, the garage think they've found the problem. Corrosion in the charge port of the car and down through the cable. Also faulty charge control module, possibly also due to the corrosion.
Part ordered, new charge socket, cabling and module. Nil stock in Mercedes, unknown how long it will take to get said parts!
Good news I think that it appears they've worked out what the problem is, not so good that the electrics are corroding after 6 weeks!!

But... I'm away mid Feb to late Feb. Any delay to the parts (and the dealer advised there could well be) means I won't have the car when I need it and it will be late Feb before I get it back - getting on for 2 months after I left it to be repaired.
