Congrats got the same news today Mercedes fleet confirmed will be with them the 13.

Deane. It's strange that drivethedeal has the C350e back on its site - true discount is now only £3k but they say the deal is for cars ordered before 31/12 but they are saying delivered before 31/03. Might be worth a chat with them and if that's right ask your lease company how can that be
I was told to order when I did to get the car in may, as I did not want the car to may as that's when my 14 plate is going back , I mite have been able to get it quicker as NHS fleet use 8 Diffrent lease company's

Congratulations and welcome to the club, at present a very exclusive club :)
What colour have you chosen ?

Hoping to get some news on mine soon, loaned CLS has gone some way to offset the cravings but still would be happier to receive my C350e.

Especially as I was originally promised it would be at the dealers in August!

Be interested to compare delivery dates as mine was ordered on 9th October.
Will post on here as soon as I have details. My order is via NHSFleet who seem to be getting quite a few orders for the 350e.

I've spoken to my dealer today and he's forwarded an email interchange with MB in Germany who say my car is awaiting a part but they will give it priority.

Eta is now early December which is bloody frustrating.

MB are sending me a hamper from Fortum and Mason which is nice and I'm keeping their CLS until mine does actually show up which is nicer still.

Originally the car was scheduled for September delivery and whilst the CLS is nice my C350e will be nicer still.

Each months delay also costs me around £220 a month in extra BiK which is not nice at all.

Two weeks to go.

Hi. Dark blue with grey leather interior and dark ash. A standard car with the driving assistance pack, 360 camera, privacy glass and remote online. its a company car so i needed to stay away from the packs that included the 18" alloys.

First picture of the newest addition to the family. Arrived at the dealer yesterday, and they say I get to take it home with me tomorrow..! They sent me this picture today knowing how tough the long wait has been for me..

C350e test drive

I just ordered a C350e saloon, sport, blue with grey interior. I got the chance to test drive the C300 diesel hybrid. So i took a chance and ordered the C350e, now just having read loads of reviews, bit worried.
They talk about the harshness of the engine when it kicks in.
Cant get a local garage with one to drive.

I had a lexus GS450H, hated the CVT, but engine was sweet.
I know i am getting a 4 Cyl and expect a little noise.

Anyone got one or driven yet???
Please let me know what you think.

Saw my first C350e on the road this morning - White saloon with pano roof, reg FX65, on the M40 Southbound between J6 (Watlington) and J5 (High Wycombe). Anyone on here?
White with the contrast roof looked realy good!

Forget any talk of harshness of the petrol engine. We have just completed a twenty mile journey, most of which was electrically propelled, and the only way that we could know that the petrol engine had kicked in was the needle on the rev counter. We became expert at predicting its engagement by simply recognising a road incline which would require a little help to get up. Once on the down or straight and level we were back on electric. Truly I, my wife and a passenger in the rear remarked on the fact that there was no indication of the switch from one to the other.
I am now charging the car fully for £1.70 and at the same time saving £2.30.
Reason for the saving is because Milton Keynes wave the parking fee when on a charger, £2.00 per hour in the premium zone. Win win all round :D

I felt your pain.

I wonder what part they could be waiting on a brand new car? Revised version of something ?

Ciaran - I had a 450h from new and thought the car was great other than the CVT and boot size. The engine is harsher than a 450h which is not, as you say, surprising considering 3.0 V6 vs 2.0 4 straight. It is only harsher when driven really hard (4000+), under normal acceleration you can hardly hear it and I have never heard it when it kicks in during electric running. Only real noise I can hear is that at about 70mph it sounds as if the exhaust is 'blowing' gently. I looked at the 450h when I was changing my CLS and found the price far too scary, especially as you don't get the grant - similar spec was £ 20k more than I paid for the C350e.

Just been notified car has just arrived at dealers , hoping to get delivery next Friday if my current car is back from repair in time to swap them over.

Although next Friday is the 13th so hope that is not a omen

I guess the 350e is a little bit like the 911 in that the weight distribution is a bit wrong with a lot of weight sat at the back of the car. Something to watch out for in winter that's for sure.

I usually drive mine in "Individual" mode, with the sports suspension active and sports steering. I wonder if it would perform better in the Elk test in this mode?

My 350e Estate took the M25 (anticlockwise) /M11 (North) junction very impressively a couple of days ago in Sport+

Well, ****...... Guess who called just now....!
When it came back from waxing yesterday, they were unable to get the transmission to work... Did diagnostics, and response from Germany was: Change equipment...!
New F-in transmission needed, and not even platet yet!!! Awaiting delivery of new Eq. and at least one more week of waiting. They have a demo that is brand new, and if Germany can't produce in short time, they will steal parts from that car for mine....
Bummer.........
