450 is not an AMG, it does not have an AMG engine
The question is why didn't they call it C45AMG, since it has some (if not all) of the suspension parts and a detuned 63 engine.
The engine
Google: One man, one engine.
This is the basis for every AMG model, except the C450 which ultimately isn't an AMG.
You know what I meant.
I'm not saying the process is better I'm saying that on the basis the 450 doesn't follow the philosophy it isn't an AMG in the same way my 335i M Sport is not on any level close to my e92 M3.
For myself, AMG need to get real, as they are currently being destroyed by Audi RS models. With the massive power and torque numbers now available from the ubiquitous 4-litre V8 turbos, rear-wheel drive doesn't cut it. I currently drive an Audi S7, which will leave any AMG in the wet, which is the usual UK road condition. My wife has a SLK 350, and I'd happily drive a Merc, if only they'd do an AMG driving all four wheels (not SUV, for the smarter of ****).
Why? Didn't like the C63 as it struggled to get the power down to the road, was terrible on fuel and had 2 doors, while the C450 won't do mega miles it'd be 4 doors and 4WD, nothing like the C63.

Oh come on guys, a proper 4wd system would be rather nice.
Also MB are way behind the times with there gearboxes compared to Audi and BMW.
