I've tried to search but keep getting a blank screen.

As above. This must have been discussed on here?? Was looking on the us forum and saw this. Is our uk spec ones totally different??

Rashman has a renntech cf airbox fitted to his clk63 and leec63 to his c63 they may be able to offer advise.

I think you are referring to ROW (rest of the world) Airboxes. The american airboxes have a charcoal filter and a re-striction in. DIY: ROW Air Box mod - MBWorld.org Forums

So to answer your question- A UK car does not need the mod doing.

Rash has fitted a stunning Renntech intake system on his.

I have the Carbinio one on mine which increased the BHP slightly and looks cool too!!!

Any pics of your carbonio?

Abdul,
Im stuck at work at the moment (in the middle of caspian sea) so i have no photos i can upload at the moment. However just search C63 Carbinio on google and it looks exactly like the images you will see.
It was a bit fiddly to fit and there are reports of them turning yellow (maybe in hot countrys as there is no change in mine so far) but it still makes me smile when i lift the bonnet :)

Hi Lee,

do you get any increase to the induction noise using the carbinio?

As Lee said, the rest of the world (ROW) have an additional filter in the airboxes in with the air filters.

That's why you will read about the guys in the US sourcing the European filters or removing the additional filters from their airboxes.

They see the biggest performance gains when addressing the intakes on their cars because the additional filter they have restricts airflow quite abit..

As Don said, I recently fitted Renntech's carbon fibre intakes to mine.
The main reason I got it was for the looks.

As Lee said, he has the Carbonio carbon fibre intakes, which is the alternative.

Abdul, if you search google, Carbonio has 2 "o" 's in it.

I had my spare engine cover sprayed gloss black to match the CF alittle closer.

Renntech don't make a CF engine cover to go with their intakes :dk::doh::wallbash:
