Good afternoon Ladies & Gentleman

Hope your having a great Friday and bored at work and want to help with my post.

I had my stock c63 remapped a couple months ago, I did mention that initially it was quite jerky and not very smooth.

I haven't managed to get it back to Eurocharged for them to have a look, trying to book in at the moment with Paul.

The car doesn't feel particularly smooth and just a bit sluggish sometimes in low revs. To be honest I have never been amazed by the map, I don't really notice much of a difference. It was put on the RR and showed an increase, I don't really feel it though.

Could anyone offer any insight?

Cheers

Had the same problem. I gave up in the end. ... car feels much better as stock and the gearbox much better. Inwas told the map was all ok.

You don't get huge gains with NA engines - that is the problem with the 6.2.

Better off fitting a supercharger but requires much beanage.

Should still be smooth though so see what Paul comes up with.

457 BHP to 525 BHP is a reasonable gain, I'd say from the M156.

Granted a stage 3 supercharger could add another couple of hundred plus to that, without too much effort but will also burn the best part of 15 grand at the same time.

The only thing I've found with mine, after its last remap, is that in C it try's to hold onto the gears longer than it used to. I've certainly not experienced any jerkiness.

70bhp is pretty dam amazing for a N/A IMO. Hell it would be a good result on a turbo charged car.

Yeah that is a pretty good return actually...

I stand corrected!

I think the main reason for such a big increase is that the intake flaps are only allowed to open around 70% on an unmapped car, so the C63 wasn't faster than the E63 apparently.

The remap allows those flaps to open fully, hence the gain to around about the E63 levels of power but in the lighter C class.

Strange that a couple of people seem to have issue....
Personally I have only heard positive results for the re-map from Eurocharged ( saying that mine was fine Tuned by Jerry himself after installing a Carbinio intake)

And remember no matter what anyone says unless you remove the TCU you can't map the transmission.

Did you have any flat spots or spikes on the Dyno print out??

no flat spots in the dyne i don't believe.

Can you adjust the throttle response individually?

I think i need to get it back to Eurocharged for them to inspect it and get it working properly

Mine was done over the weekend at MSL.
Started off with just 428bhp - down by 29bhp.
However, made up 70bhp to 499bhp post remap.

Difference may be due to poor service and also my new 9.5J wheels.

Driving in C now feels like driving in S mode.

S+ mode is smoother thru the gears.
Loadsa pops and bangs on shift down.

is this also the case on the 487bhp stock cars?

Hmm the forums not going to fix it.

Get it back to Eurocharged.

:)

Not at all.

:)

I think your comment about a forum not being able to fix it is a bit stupid, who says that? Don't you think that its a bit obvious?

The point of a forum is defined as "a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged".

So next time you have a "great" comment, go drop it on the daily mail comments section not my posts. :thumb:

Your post was pointless IMHO.

With the exception you were bored and wanted to complain at Eurocharged
without even asking them first about your problem.

Surely going to them first with the complaint rather than come here moaning would have been a better solution.

Its to easy to do what you have done because you were bored and cast bad light on a company that knows nothing of the problem in the first place.

Perhaps some thought before posting because your bored, or even take time to call Eurocharged instead of posting here would be more constructive
and perhaps even resolve your problem with the re-map.

I had the same issue which was never resolved.
