C63 Coupe "Soup to Nuts"

No issues, but to be fair only had the car 5 days. Oh and I have just returned from my 3rd fill-up in those 5 days :D

Around town I am getting maybe 10-12mpg, on longer runs then north of 20. In fact yesterday I felt small moral victory when she hit 22.2mpg on a run to Heathrow and back. woohoo :)

At least I have a full tank again, at least for this afternoon :)

Approx 180 - 200 miles.
What issues never heard of any with the 6.3 engine?

Thanks thats not as bad as I thought. If it can get close to 200 i'm happy with that.

The issues I read about in the states were more electrical faults rather than to do with the engine I think.

Also heard a lot about rattles, how are they holding up so far?

Sorry to drift from the theme of the moment, but a quick diversion into the grubby world of children, god bless 'em

On Sunday I discovered that, with booster seat sitting on the back seat, the rear of the front seats are perfect targets for the soles of a 5 year old's dusty and grubby shoes. My godson put plenty of effort into finding out what interesting scuff marks he could "draw" in the plastic backing with his feet.

Not long after, a short squirt had him procliaming "ooh it's so fast my willy burst!". Yup, you guessed it - my pride and joy, and still only 24 hours old!

Anyway I turned my attention to a proper clean-up earlier today, as I have been away. The leather has been treated with Starguard (I know there are various opinions on this "product") and cleaned up very nicely using the leather cream supplied in the holdall.

I also used the need to do some unplanned scrubbing as an excuse to invest in a new Dyson DC34 Animal portable vacuum. Really happy with this thing - a very small and light cordless vacuum that gives plenty of suck, as well as multiple attachments to reach tricky places or gently buff the trim. Not cheap at £179, but I think it will prove a shrewd buy. Especially if my godson decides he wants another ride in the "big noisy car".

I too have placed an order for a C63 Coupe on the 24th.
was told they have a build slot going thru in early June, and would be hoping for late June delivery!! and I cant wait!!!
What a machine it is. Looks the dogs, drives beautifully, and sounds amazing!
Will keep you updated as I hear anything.

We seems to have a lot of end of June deliveries lets how were not waiting on the same. My order went in on the 23rd and have been told that I can expect it around the 18th June.

Ordered mine 6th March and build date is 12th April and expected delivery to dealer is 8th June. June going to be a good month for a lot of us on here.

Interesting!! Mine was ordered 7th June but I've not had a build nor delivery date, other than 'late June'.

Just found this so thought I'd pop it up. One of them big noisy things, shiny and new with just 14 miles on it (well, since the odo was reset when it got hooked up to the car)

The name on the plaque is Herr Mattias Lutz. I hope he had a good day when he bolted this one together...

Oh and I've just hit the mileage of the beast - 666 - which prompted a quick snap that is currently sitting on my phone (don't worry I was staionary at lights when I took it! :p).

334 miles and counting?

Congrats, car looks amazing.

I ordered mine last week of Decemeber....late May delivery! - Don't order one with Carbon fibre...

I ordered one. Carbon inside and out, PP, LSD, etc 3rd week of December just arrived in country yesterday. Pick-up early next week.

Congrats Khamen, that really does look good and kinda makes me regret that I got the saloon!

I've done just over 6,000 miles since Sept 2011 and it's showing 20.3 mpg, I know it's probably at least 10% less, which I'm impressed with as it includes French Autoroute and a track day. ;)

In summary I'm delighted with the car and I'm even thinking of changing it for a coupe, but I'm sure that may be too expensive to contemplate.
