Hi all, newbie here!

I currently drive a Evo X sst 300, but im considering buying C63 or RS5.

I aim to test drive them both in the very near future, but just wondered if any of you could offer any thoughts on the AMG ie running costs, service intervals, handling etc.

Thanks in advance.

Why, the C63 of course! But then this is an MB forum... :)

Have you posted on an Audi forum? Wonder what their comments are.

Welcome, by the way :thumb:

The rs5 finishes a pretty distant 3rd in every single comparison test I've read, 1st and 2nd comprising of the c63 and the m3 in whatever order takes the reviewers fancy.

As for running costs there is the fuel but then you knew that, service annually or every 12k.

Good luck and have fun in the test drives.

Read the reviews on the rs5 they are rather poor the c63 amg beats it by some margin.

Keep the Evo X. The only car I miss is an Impreza STI PPP I used to own.

Hi and welcome. If you are worried about running and service cost, I would not buy any of them.:)

Not sure the OP is worried about costs rather than just finding out - given what the OP has now, I would imagine poor fuel economy and steep running costs are well known...!

The RS5 will certainly grip better on the bends which is what you are used to.

C63 is more of a handful.

I would personally drive both cars to see what you prefer.

Have recently tested rs6, c63 plus an M3 and have just order the c63. It's the only one that left me smiling.

^ Good choice, I like your straight to the point summary. :thumb:

Thanks MW. To be fair the RS6 with a miltek sounds good but it's a bit of a bus. M3 to close to my 335i on the road (just a bit better in almost every way), but the c63..... Still smiling..

Had the s5 and tried the rs5. The s5 actually has more torque and real world is as quick if not a bit quicker given the low speed shove of the torque and you can have a really good manual box.

Save a fortune too on the new and used price of the rs5. Looks wise they are both great.

C63 a great machine. Audi dealer service excellent.
