2014 C63 Saloon
So.. into my fourth week of owning my C63 and i have to say, i blinking love it. I have found absolutely bloody any excuse to drive it, ive been through a petrol tankers worth of fuel, washed it about 10 times and it still puts a smile on my face everytime i look at it and, makes me giggle like a school girl when giving it welly.

The car will be with me for a long time as its basically my 'realistic dream car'. However im just curious - current C63 owners, what will you be replacing yours with? and If you are a previous C63 owner what did you choose?

i ask because i feel a saloon with junior supercar performance seems very hard to replicate, unless of course you go for another super saloon!

only thing i can see a current owner getting tired of is the fuel bill..?

My 1st AMG was a new c63 on a 12 plate. Replaced it with a Sl63 r231 then a AMG GTS. I got the AMG bug.

Enjoy.

I bought a 335d bmw

Snap! A nice 335D estate, then a Porsche Macan Turbo and a Mini John Cooper Works.

I do still miss the C63 though, but it would have to be another estate.

Cheap Audi S8 + SLK 55. None sounds as good as C63 but SLK will have exhaust improved in some time.

Audi is as bad for petrol, SLK is a bit better.

Ive recently sold mine and am currently quickly putting the pennies away for an M4! Currently zipping about in a 2014 Fiesta ST for some cheap motoring, i'm pleasantly surprised at how nippy the thing is to drive, although stepping into a manual is horrible!!

I would drive the new C63 back to back with the M4. I'm an M car man at heart but the new C63 is just better.

M4 looks great and its quick, but the noise is total ****e. I couldn't live with the noise for the cost of the thing.

Won't be thinking of any car.
Will only consider if and when i decide to change.
As of now, my C63 has my unwavering attention.

Im saving up for new r8 v10+ and btw i dont think you can replace w204 c63 so that will stay with as long as i can keep it.

The m3 noise is dreadful.

Ive heard a few and yeah there not very good. There are some on you tube with so called performance exhausts and a few I thought sounded like a Honda lawnmover.

My neighbour has one and I'm greeted by the bag of spanners noise/lawnmower most mornings. I then fire a proper engine up...!!

I ordered a M3 competition pack when I sold my C63, I get it in few weeks time. Definitely doesn't sound as good as the AMG but I wanted a change.

As I get older... Well I'm only 32! But as I get older, I'm less bothered about the out and out performance, or the numbers, or the top trumps, and I'm more bothered about the fun-factor, the smile and the grin... Everyone with a W204 C63 will know the grin I mean.

I've had my C63 for 1 year next month, and I love it. It's a treat. I stretched myself to buy it, and I adore the thing, I look after it like a child. However, I know that I probably won't keep it forever, as things change, life moves on etc. For now it's here to stay.

Given that I don't really compare numbers or top trumps on these things, the next car will just need to have that X-Factor. I want that grin again. I can see myself looking to get something a bit cheaper next time (it's all relative I know, but it's super valuable to me). Will see how the values of M2's go, or the values of the Focus RS, or even get a cheaper E9X M3 - maybe 4 doors if kiddies come along. Who knows though. As long as it makes me grin, it's a winner.

After owning two C63 amg's I settled for a CLS C63 amg S with a remap from MSL performance and very happy with it :)
