Thanks mika

On the pre facelift was it possible to spec a LSD without the pp?

So far I've just been on the lookout for pp cars

Bit slow again bp amazed you did not say that at post number three.
Why are you amazed?

Steve seemed to make a valuable comment about a C63 engine issue then slipped in a piece of advice as he saw it, which was to recommend a diesel alternative. Didn't seem to warrant any comment. The following comment about smokey diesels always looking like they've blown up seemed somewhat provocative to me, hence the comment from me, which was just displaying my sadness at how these threads descend into childishness.

Clear enough? :D

I love CLS63s! :D

I agree.
.
I really enjoy reading the C63 threads but they always seem to get spoiled. Is it not time to call a truce and the diesel guys stay on their posts and the C63 guys stay on their posts as the two parties rarely have anything worthwhile to add be it C63 or diesel.

Well said note how the usual suspects have once more latched on quickly to a c63 thread.

A bit off topic but I'm going to post it anyway.

Firstly let me say that own a diesel car, I love it and it's perfect for our needs as a family, in fact it's the third such vehicle I've bought in a row so I have no axe to grind regarding people's fuelling options.

I have also just this weekend taken delivery of a new C63 estate. I researched this purchase at some length and have been looking forward to the car's arrival for months. Certain members and threads on these boards were extremely helpful and also heightened the sense of anticipation. Now the car is here the early signs are all extremely positive.

The sad thing is though, unlike other brand fora I'm a member of I actually don't want to put up a post here talking about the car, what it feels like to drive and my thoughts and experiences because I just fear the sniping, bickering and general negativity that may very well end up manifesting itself and which I've seen on so many other threads regading the C63. I think that's a real shame and a sad reflection on the forum and certain members.

Yep, I give some factual information to help a new poster and I'm accused of bullying. I really don't know why I bother trying to help...

I've reported subsequent posts for baiting and trolling. I'll not have my comments slurred like that.

You're not helping ***.

EDIT - and you know full well what you are doing.

I take it you guys don't have as many friendly forum meets then :)

A few of the guys over at e90post have c63's now so we always have friendly knowledge over there.

Anyway with baiting myself, i perhaps am too new to the party to understand the past stigma some of these posts may have.

I was surprised to hear the c63 was a little more problematic than i imagined.

However, it's a not a dog and it wont prevent me buying one, i'm just glad to be informed. I actually quite fancy a m3 DCT, XKR or B7 RS4 Avant. Hell i even went to see an M6 but i want a change from BMW for my next car and the avant, well, not as fun to drive. XKR, i would buy in a heartbeat but unfortunately my head says i need AT LEAST 2 comfortable rear seats for kids.

As i needed a visit to the chiropractor the XKR and it's rear seats are out of the question.

Why thank you! early days yet, only gripe at present is the fuel consumption :O

Hello BP1000

the other one that you might be interested in is the new F30 Alpina its quite a package although down on BHP to the C63 could be a serious competitor

I'm sorry, what am I doing other than doing something very rare with backing up my statements with a link to some information to help a new comer learn more about a future car.

I apologise if the truth is too inconvienent for some Jon, but it really ain't my issue. I'd suggest you sort out some of your posters.
