Does this seem about right or am I getting ripped off?

£748 for a B service on a 12 plate C63. Includes brake/transmission fluid and air filter. 35000 miles.

Thanks in advance.

Seems on the high side though I noticed the other day an air filter is £70 lol

A little on the expensive side I'd say.

My last B service was £320, without the gearbox oil service. They told me that mine was due next year - which turns out to be wrong, it only gets done at 3 years or 31,250 miles, and never again - they quoted £250 for the gearbox service.

Another forum member asked for a discount and received it from the dealer in Aberdeen, it's always worth an ask.

Even though they said gearbox doesn't need servicing again id still do it after 30k I don't believe it's lifetime.

It sounds a bit strong, but not totally out of bounds depending upon where you are.

Based on generic main dealer rates of £350 for the B-service, £280 for the gearbox oil & filter change and £70 for the air filters you're up to £700 plus the brake fluid change, so it isn't far adrift. That doesn't mean it's reasonable, just that MB main dealer prices are, err, "not cheap".

One thing I would say is that if it's due a brake fluid change (which is done at 2-year intervals) then it should also be due spark plugs (4-year intervals), so something doesn't sound quite right.

As The_Don says, a service care plan at £45 / mth starts to look attractive...

You can get quotes online, however we paid £350 for an a service and gearbox fluid change from an Indi. It might pay to shop around, Mercedes Newcastle were cheaper than Mercedes Peterborough.

Certainly ask for a discount and definitely look at service plans!
