C63 Steering wheel stuck in up position

Just checking I'm not being stupid and missed something. When we exit the car we use memory 3 to move the seat right back and retract and move the steering wheel to its highest point so as to aid egress and lessen wear on the seat bolster.

Today on getting back in the car the wheel will move in and out but won't drop down and the motors make no noise when pushing the lever down. Presumably it's knackered and a trip back to the dealer for hopefully a warranty repair.

Have you checked the fuses there's at least 2 or 3 http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/electronics/182381-w204-fusebox-chart.html

Thanks Graeme, not checked that. Assumed that if it worked in and out it wouldn't be a fuse issue?

Mercedes collected the car today, lubricated something and apparently it's now working and delivered back nice and shiny.
