Not sure if you're aware but AWD isn't modern technology. Unless you count the 1960's as modern.
Well... The technology is at least 75 years younger than your RWD...

Plus RWD is for men, Quattro for pussies, he probably chickened out.

That's because AMG and M drivers know how to handle a car.

Quattro is a bit like 'My First Chemistry Set'; it's all right for starters but you know you'll be moving on to bigger things like Bunsen burners etc once you suss the job out.

With this mentality, everyone here is an amateur because they rely on modern day technology of automatic gearboxes, traction control, abs, power steering, sensors etc.

Totally missing the point. :fail

I'm sure someone will come and correct me but just because the RS7 has a great 0-60 time, doesn't make it quick on the move; loss of power through four wheels as opposed to two for a start.

I couldn't say it any better !

Speaking from first hand experience, my RS7 (Dynamic Edition) made a SL65 AMG look like it was going in reverse pulling from 100mph. So I doubt a C63 would stand a chance.

I doubt it very much ,unless the sl65 owner couldn't be bothered with lesser cars!

Unfortunately, it's not all about the fancy figures that the manufacturers pull out, to entice people like you to buy their cars, it's about how the car actually puts the power down on the road in the REAL world. Make no mistake, the SL65 is a fast car. The only difference here, perhaps he was backing off the throttle because he didn't want to end up losing control with so much power and torque going to two wheels! I've been there and I've done that with my Supra (1200+bhp) and trust me when I tell you, anything over circa 550bhp going to the rear wheels alone is uncontrollably freighting! So in this day and age, where cars are built to be safer as opposed to being 'exciting', Mercedes have a lot of catching up to do with 4WD technology...

I have 730 bhp in my C63 and no problems in launching it or pressing the throttle at any time! ;-)

Sounds like there's some have a sense of insecurity on their masculinity, requiring reassurance to be called a real man for the RWD car in ownership...

Each to their own, but if one need's RWD to confirm that they are a real man, they're probably not even close.

#insecurity ??

Fancy a trip to Santa pod? RWD drivers are not "pussies" remember?

We don't need RWD to valid our masculinity, it comes with the package.

Rear wheel drive *check*

Hairy chest *check*

Drink beer *check*

Driving gloves *check*

Open a beer bottle with teeth *check*.

How could you even say that an RS7 is a "lesser" car than the SL65. That is a very biased view bearing in mind that I actually had a very pleasant conversation with the driver who quite happily conceded defeat. Where did you pop out from? :fail:

Haha, you have no idea... Why don't you build a dynamic edition and see how much it comes to... Besides, since when did the value of a car determine how good it is?

Because the A7 is based on an A6 which is essentially a Skoda Superb.

Great highlight of depth of knowledge and intelligence level...
