Car is running back to full power!

I finally got the car sorted for the lack of power. The car was found to be running 50 BHP less at the last rolling road GTG: http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=2878

The boost was there as they measured it at the intake and also there was no leaks in any of the charge pipes because if I closed the dump valve I could hear turbo flutter/backspin.

It turned out that the fuel filter was leaking around a closing seal causing loss of fuel pressure. Thanks to George Fraser for finding the fault/replacing this for me at very short notice.

I think I once spoted ur car in West Drayon High Street few weeks ago - its got xenons right ? - they were switched on at the time one morning ?

I do indeed have Xenons and they are on during the day - Not sure if I went to west drayton a few weeks back or not?

It was on Yiewsley High Street (which then leads onto West Drayton…) – perhaps there is a clone version of ur car going round – quite rare to see a W202 with body kit and xenons… may not have been ur car then…

I don't have a problem with drivers driving around with xenons on during the day...
