Car is shaking on idle but once over 10 mph car runs very smooth. It also picks up speed a little late. Took the car to the mechanic, who told me changing all 4 injectors will solve the problem. Got all 4 reconditioned for 500 pounds, got them fitted problem is still there. When the engine is cold the shaking is worse. Also it misfires

Got too many diagnostic done, none of them helped.
Please help

Don't the injector have to be calibrated/adapted/coded or some such thing?

I think you only need coding if you change part numbers, for recon I think you're fine.

I remember your past posts on this problem.

:(

Needs to be looked at by an experienced mech or you will waste more money on it. It may be air being sucked in to a fuel line; could be blocked fuel filter or could be an inlet valve not seating properly - and seating a bit better as the head warms up and expands. Could be low compression.
Is the car hard to start from cold; if so may make air leak more likely.

Sounds like a lack of compression to me. Has it been through a flood?

Compression check is needed firstly.

I would say that you may have a lack of fuel pressure. This can be caused by a few things.

My best advice is to get a specialist (like me) to take a look at it. Where do you live? Maybe the forum can recommend a specialist near you?
