Couldn't find Heinz workshop manual for my E-class, so I spent £15 on a new paperback manual from an eBay seller.
It seems like work-in-progress rather than a complete manual. It mainly covers taking apart the engine and a MANUAL gear box.
The electrical parts are only covered in 4 pages (yes, just 4 pages). There is hardly anything on the many parts that a non-expert can attempt to handle.

Didn't bother in complaining nor attempting to return it. Too much hassle and, by the time I pay for the postage and they detect the cost of their postage, not much will be left.

Trying to get one for my C-Class too. Lot of rip offs on eBay. Make sure you get the proper Haynes one I say. Proven technology heh.

Scam

DO NOT purchase Which Manuals products its a scam!!!! I did:mad:
Just Google Which Manuals and stand back!!!!

Malcolm.

I dont think youll find a heinz one as they generally specialise in a well known student prefferred topping for toast..

try haynes...

on a serious note, i dont think Haynes can keep up with the electricals of modern day cars.. most things are just not DIY jobs anymore.

Bought the haynes for the W203, for some reason they have not covered any V6 engines or AMG, still good though for getting a heads up on certain things C320 related. Come on Haynes, hurry up and release a manual for the V6 and AMG versions of the W203 C class, surely you have to, don't you!!!!??? Sooner or later....

I phoned Haynes last year about a manual for the W210, & their answer was that they dont make one, but, it was on their 'consideration' list.

Haynes always have an eye to "potential market" and sadly there are simply not enough W203 DIY OWNERS of V6 AND V8 MODELS out there to warrant producing one. :( As Jay says they can't adequately document the electrical systems on modern cars . You can still make major savings however on routine servicing brake renewals and minor body/trim /removal/repair to get a good return on a manual that only covers part of the car.:thumb:
