Basingstoke%20and%20Deane-20130408-00091.jpgHi,

I have a 59 reg S320. I have just replaced the original 18“ wheels with new 18“mthe back's went on all ok, no spacer required and the center caps fit.

The tyre fitter then told me that the fronts needed a spacer, which he fitted. Now the MB center caps don't fit flush with the wheel, so I can get my finger nail easily behind it, and it will probably fly off if I drive it.

Any ideas. The width is fine it's just the depth of the cap.

Thanks

Daryl

Why do the fronts need spacers if the correct (ET) wheel was fitted?
