I must say, traffic seems to be on the up. Maybe due to time of year, or maybe it is the fuel price coming down.
I was paying 70p odd per litre when I started to drive. I never thought it would ever go below £1 again. Let's just hope the falling continues and the price remains low.
Yes. Somewhat worrying. Not what's good for us (even if the medicine doesn't taste good) but what's good for them.
TBH I think if there was an announcement of say 5p or 8p fuel duty increase while prices are falling as they have then the treasury would have easily managed to get away with it.
Moerover if prices went back up in a few months and they then cut it back again then people would cope with the 'regulator' effect.
A rise in fuel duty would upset the low inflation rate which is politically desirable for the Government months away from the election. Expect big increases after then.
