Indeed, a white MB that can handle the colour is something that definitely stands out.

Lovely car whatever colour you get.

An MB in white. No class - just like white stilettos. Must be obsidian black.

A warning from Ishmael!

Just a note of warning if you were to choose "this years colour" ---white. Be prepared for deranged guys called Captain Ahab to try to damage your car by throwing sharp metal objects at it while quoting the bible.

This is particularly likely to happen if you take your car near a large body of open water, but I expect you would be wary of that scenario anyway.

Cubanite silver gets my vote Brian.

When i was at Brooklands last week they had a Obsidian CLS with Cashmere Exclusive Passion leather, that Alcantara headlining is fabulous with the A,B and C pillars covered and the rest in leather.

I'm sorry that White is just not my choice, it isn't a colour anyway?

I have had a silver CLS so think, if possible, I would like a change. In the end it may be I shall have to settle for what is available, but I definitely know what I will not accept.

Do they offer Diamond Black - my car is this colour and I much prefer the blue fleck in it than the Green on in Obsidian.....But I am now expecting to be "drowned" by the others saying different...lol

No they don't offer Diamond Black and Green Black is different to Obsidian Black.

Well although I like Cubanite it is not my first choice, one reason is a mate has it on his car.

Anyway Obsidian Black with Cashmere Beige Leather is what I have chosen. So the poll confirms it is a good choice.

Let us now wait to see what is available shall we??

When I was on holiday in Devon a couple of months ago, I saw five CLS during my three day stay. All Black.

At least the choices you've given the insurance company are popular ones. With a bit of luck they should be able to source a replacement for you at a price they are prepared to pay.

It's so long since I was in school that I've thrown away the slates on which I scratched my notes. The following is the first line of the Wikipedia entry for white: "White is the combination of all the colors of the visible light spectrum".

That might well make you right as the visible light spectrum contains more than just the primary colours.

This is getting too serious for a Sunday afternoon.
