Tricky one!
I agree with Killerhertz, the star is too small on the coupe, but there are no larger options.

I think the ideal would be a combination of both; bigger star, just 3 slats, holey and in similar finish or even painted the same as the body colour.
I kept the pre-facelift grille on mine, after some deliberation, but had it all sprayed body colour(except star) which makes it look much more discrete on my (black) car and a bit meaner... It was done by a body shop & oven baked & so far no sign of chipping after over six months.
I am still toying with getting the holey ML style grille for the B-class, but this is a bit of a rip off at present

But..It will only fit pre-facelift coupes as it was modified to fit mine. The face lift grilles have 3 locating tabs underneith and these were removed.
