CL55 Komp for me ??

Well i might have found that CL55 i am looking for

Item No 270349596092. Sorry i don't know how to post the real Ebay thingy.

It is the correct colour inside and out and lots of goodies. Got the Vin No lots of unknown Codes, i don't know if any one has access to finding them.

A Cologne Dealer in March 2003. Have been in email contact with owner.

One owner full MBSH 79,230 Miles what do you think re Mileage, next Service in 9,300 Miles, four new tyres. The only thing it does not have as far as i can tell is Lingtronic and ABC. The only thing i don't like is the steering wheel (Big deal)

The unknown Codes are: 197U - 221L - 230B - 250B - 280A - 284A - 2XXL - 390 - 682 - 881 - N25 - N45.

I think he is asking to much. How much do you think it is worth ? What is the general consensus ?

Tomorrow i will know what Warranty work has been done, if any and the full history. Then i will see.

It looks as if it's been looked after.

Thanks very much Olly. If it's a yes then that would be great, the C43 needs a good run. Walsall a bit of a trek if it's a Lemon.
If it is a Maybe does anyone live near Walsall to give it a quick once over ? Just to see if it looks as good in the flesh as it does in the photo's.

Olly what do you think about it not having ABC ? A blessing in disguise.

This is the real world of "55k" prices - and I am a little surprised that there have been no posts suggesting you can get such a 2003 beast for under £17k.

If you have done your reseach and you know the real world market price then have a good look at this one.

I think Maff's £100k CL was the '65 though - and IIRC they were nearer £150k new!

These CL55 Kompressors look like pretty good value, and I've always loved them for what they are. But if I'm 100% honest I'd have thought they'd have dropped a little more by now (new model CL has been out for a while, SL55s are similarly cheap etc).

Would have expected to see them at sort of £15-20k nowadays?

Yep - both were bought used - but the black one was a CL65, and that was about £100k second hand!

Pretty sure the '55 wasn't £100k when he had it - they were only about that much brand new!

I didn't realise it was standard on the W215. I know it is optional on the S-Class W220 + W221.

Yes they stopped production Sep/Oct 2006. It will be interesting to see what his Reserve is.

I would think his Buy Now Price is optimistic.79,000 miles is an average mileage.
