Hi, I am just about to buy an 04 cl55amg with 92k on the clock, prestine condition, full uk main dealer histor, last at 90k.
Can anyone tell me of any common faults about this amg model?
Also, i want to buy my own warranty as the dealer ( not franchised ) warranty is not great ie £2000 limit - no use if a supercharger goes!!!
I have a cl500 with 60k on the clock full dealer history and i bought from mercedes benz direct( 2 and a half yeas ago) with their own tier 1 warranty - can i buy their tier 2 ( cars over 60k)from them even if this cl 55 is not bought from them?
Failing that can anyone recommend a good warranty that will cover main but expensive stuff like all engine components, drivetrain, supercharger without the weasle words?
Ps if anyone is interested, im letting my W reg cl500 goe for around £12k.
