I've just recently inherited what I am led to believe is a 1983 mercedes 280ce,but I can't seem to find any sites that can value my vechile that acknowledges it,the
Majority of sites seem to think my model was stopped in 1981,can anyone ages light on this mysteriously model!?? AND for added man points can anyone tell me the ruff value of the car if it is in wry good condition with a fsh and 45k on the clock!?? Thank you

C123 and I think they went on till 85 or 86.As for the value,depends on condition of the body and condition.If it`s a good one it can fetch for a bit

It's a W123.053 - you can double-check this on the VIN, which should start something like WDB123053...

You can find this variant listed on the W123 Wikipedia article, produced until 1985.

There's a 1985 ('86-registered) 230CE with 80k for sale on Autotrader for £6k.
