I have a problem with my new Mercedes c230k petrol Estate 54 reg.
I will Start at the biginning about 6 weeks ago i went to look at a Mercedes C230k Estate in Grey Top of the range has nearly every toy, im not joking, when i test drove it everything was fine.
Checked everything again yesterday on collection, as i was driving off with it being hot i turned the Climate/aircon on nothing, the air was warmer then outside ,thought who Fcuk here we go.
Turned around took it back to the person who said that the climate/air con was working, he then couldnt say sorry enough times.
I will pay to get it regassed, now my journy was yesterday Saturday May 22nd from 5am up, into manchester on the bus, then a train to high wycomb, had to change at Banbrury so from 5am to 10.57am, so already a long day 3 screaming kids, as my mother forgot she was having them, eh parents, so took the kids for a day out , bit warm but thats no problem. i though will be cold coming back nice climate !
Anyway, the guy stuck to is word, yeah i will come with you and pay for it , he couldnt say sorry a enough, drove round to different place's, Dont use Halfords, Cowboys, thats anther story, when to Kwikfit they couldnt do it until monday no good to me , time now is about 1pm sun is hot car as full Black Leather you get the idea, to Hot, by about 2.25pm and 35 miles driving all over with is ipone trying different places finally found someone ( Mr Clutch)
now this is the problem , they tried 3 times Vacuumed it 3 times just check for moister,blockes nothing ,took the gas, they said if the manchine detects a leak it shuts down, all was fine, but aircon/climte is not work, 3 hours later there at Mr Clutch, still no cold air,clutch is engaging on the compressor but no cold air and i have a drive back to Manchester temp at 28c a 28month old baby girl a 7 and 9 year old..
In the End he ask me what i wanted to do, have my money back,but he couldnt give me my train fair back as he said it was working , i didnt want to get the train back
so i bought it ,he as already paid for the regas and service and i have the recipt, sorry for boring you
i bought the car did get some money back as well, so will have get it repaired now any idea, so i dont get ripped off
Ripped off here we go my friend as a Vauxhall Vectra full leather and estate phoned for a valet, they said £50, i phoned said Mercedes c class estate remember smaller then a vectra £75. so i asked them why i was told its a Mercedes, AND, thats just our price's so because you have a Mercedes and not a Vauhall we get ripped off, this is why im sking for any idea's what it could be
Love the car, just abit deaf this morning with window slight down on motorway,(wind Noise 204miles back )
